ABOUT THE
CAMPAIGN

The Uganda AIDS Marathon 2026 is a powerful movement uniting runners, communities, and advocates in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Organized by Village Journeys Africa in partnership with the Uganda AIDS Commission, this annual event harnesses the energy of sport to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and fund life-saving programs across Uganda.

The Torch of Hope Campaign carries the flame of awareness from city to city — 13 regional activations across Uganda — building momentum for the Grand Marathon on 29th November 2026 in Kampala, the heart of the nation.
